Fifth graders at Beverly Elementary School in Edmonds, WA participate in Gear Up & Go! An initiative within the Snohomoish County Health Leadership Coalition to enhance activity in and outside of the classroom.
Students wear Sqord wristbands during the day to keep track of their activity. When synced their activity is transformed into points and the data uploaded to Sqord’s social platform where students can interact and encourage each other.
The Northwest Center for Public Health Practice provides evaluation for this initiative.
